Fight to Win (1987) Leo Fong

My memory is less than perfect, so I hope that this is correct. I think that I recall Rothrock introducing celebrated director King Hu (“A Touch of Zen”) years ago at a special screening at the MPAA Theater in BH. Not sure as to what the connection might have been, because I did not notice any overlap in her film credits with his, but perhaps it would have been that they both were working in the HK film industry for a number of years, and so must have crossed paths from that.

In any case, I became sufficiently impressed with her that I’d like to catch up with as many of her films as possible. (You don’t really expect martial arts stars to be great actors — I’ve heard from some viewers who think Jet Li comes across as pretty wooden in that regard, most of the time. They just need to have some genuine screen presence, and to deliver the action goods convincingly. Cynthia definitely has that, and is rather easy on the eyes to boot.)
