“Bonjour, welcome to France,” says the narrator of French Wives over a montage of location shots from French cities and towns in Europe. Then the narrator, still narrating (the whole thing is narrated), picks up Nicole (TINA RUSSELL) at a train station and delivers her to world-famous erotic photographer, Jean-Claude.
The rest of the film shows the photo session and the breaks from the photo session, which are virtually indistinguishable (except for the presence of the camera) inasmuch as they involve the usual rounds of fucking and sucking. Throughout, authentic French-style love songs throb away in the background and JAMIE GILLIS pops up at one of the orgies.
The “narrator,” who participates in the photo sessions, is a natural redhead. And Tina is Tina, lovely and tragic. If you like French fries, you’re likely to like this French dish cooked up by some ’70s Francophile with a penchant for porn.
