An explosion rocks the lobby of a busy hotel in Milan; killing many innocent people. Police Commissioner, Matteo Rolandi, is an honest cop, and a witness to the bombing. There’s not a lot of clues to go on, and the police are baffled. However, Rolandi’s friend, Luigi Balsamo, accidentally stumbles onto an important clue to solving the case.
