In another doc — a featurette Extra accompanying some other film — a doc about the history of French erotica and hard core, we get an interesting brief overview, In that one, narrated by J.B., he comes across as a more erudite and less vulgar counterpart to Tinto Brass. (Once referred to a by a certain celebrated novelist, commentator, and screenwriter as “Tinto Zinc.”)
That may have been less than clear. (Reason for that author’s comment::Because Zinc is considered much less valuable than brass.)
