Stage actors Mariah and Daniel play lovers every night, but their onstage romance lacks spark. One slow afternoon, they discover that today’s matinée performance will make or break both their careers. At first, I thought this was going to go a certain way, but am glad that it didn’t — even though where it actually went wasn’t very credible. (Not professional behavior for them, not that sort of legit “theater”, not acting but “real-ing”) But a nice watch despite all that, and well shot. I’ve seen “Silver Shoes”, but more of this director’s other work would be welcome
