“Right here, in our own backyard, in the more ‘civilized’ parts of the world, are practiced some of the most uncivilized acts ever conceived!” Yes, students, today’s illustrated lecture is another Italian Mondo Sexo with a bunch of added New York scenes, all proving that It’s a Sick… Sick… Sick World!
In Central Park, RICHARD B. SHULL (Sssssss) attacks a woman in broad daylight. In Washington Square Park, three queers swish up a storm as onlookers laugh in disgust: “This is a sick, sick, sick world!” Then a guy rolls around on the roof of a building with two mincing drag queens: “When the parks become too crowded, the strange ones take to the rooftops!”
At a photographer’s studio, Jerry Lewis takes pictures of models who… Wait. That’s not Jerry. It’s SAMMY PETRILLO, star of Keyholes are for Peeping and Bela Lugosi meets a Brooklyn Gorilla! Sammy’s a “cheap thrill seeker” who takes photos of one gal spanking another with a shoe. “Thrill seekers will pay premium prices to see these acts performed!” Then one of the gals whips the other with a leather belt. “The whipping fetish is an act that has been with us since the beginning of time!” Make a note of that.
A hooker stands next to a sign that says, “We give Plaid Stamps.” She buys some heroin and rushes over to an apartment where everyone is doing the Twist. She then shoots up in the bathroom, jabbing herself right above the stocking. Yessiree, “It’s a sick, sick, sick world!”
Then it’s off to Europe where we see strippers from Germany, England, Italy, and France. After a gal wanders through Italy’s famous Cinecitta studio, LUCKY KARGO (Two Girls for a Madman) and SAM STEWART (My Brother’s Wife) beat the shit out of each other at a nearby restaurant. “Yes, the human animal is strange. Or is it?”
We go to a “Come-As-You-Are-and-Bring-Anyone-or-Anything” Party. “Whatever’s considered strange and out of the norm to most people is perfectly acceptable here!” We witness wacky performance art where a guy and girl clobber each other in front of an audience: “We tried to find out what this sport was called but we never did get an answer!” Then they roll out women in big round costumes and the audience goes nuts. All together now, class: “It’s a sick, sick, sick world!”
