Veteran reviewer “lor” has pegged Tobalina as the consummate hack. There are amusing stories from some of his actors about his just letting the camera run and then leaving the set, with the actors being left to their own imagined direction.
He wasn’t even competent enough filmmaker to be considered a “hack”.
