There was a civil strife in the court. In order to protect the king, some loyal ministers and the king hid in an old house. This old house was known as a haunted house; whoever lived in the house shall die for sure. In 1971, the year that producer Raymond Chow and director Lo Wei made Bruce Lee’s international breakout hit The Big Boss, they also made this period kung fu film starring “Bruce babe” Nora Miao (Way of the Dragon, Fist of Fury). Co-starring Patrick Tse Yin, Stanley Fung Shui Fan, and iconic villain Shih Kien, the film combines political intrigue with martial arts and a hint of horror.
