The arrival of detectives to inspect the vaults of a suburban bank does not alarm the staff. But when the ‘detectives’ walk out with the contents of the safe and make a clear getaway, it certainly disturbs Inspector Rankin. For this is a well-planned robbery, with no leads. But as the gang leader pays off his accomplices, they learn that this robbery has been carried out to finance a much bigger one. It looks as if Inspector Rankin will have a second chance!
