The Railroad Cinema (Bahnhofskino) was a special kind of cinema, existing only in the old West German Federal Republic. These cinemas were build by the German Railway Company after WW2 for their travelers, who could now enjoy a movie or part of a movie while waiting for the next train. Due to this fact, the programmes in these cinemas were quite special, too…

This doc is a journey into another time, featuring directors Jörg Buttgereit and Uwe Boll, musicians Christian Andersen and Wolfgang Niedecken as well as actors Ben Becker and Mechthild Großmann and boxing legend Rene Weller. Special appearance by the veteran ticket vendor Gertrud Sonnenburg.
