Cheung (Samo Hung), a small-town braggart, impresses his friends by sleeping over night in a supposedly haunted house. Unknown to Cheung, the local magistrate is having an affair with his wife and calls in a corrupt sorcerer to dispose of his burly rival once and for all. Cheung receives guidance from a kind-hearted wizard, who gives him the skills he needs to face his supernaturally powered foes.”

This movie is off the wall; anyone who isn’t used to Hong Kong cinema, their heads will explode by the finale. The movie has vampires, ghosts, possession, kung fu, comedy, monkey talk, random acts of violence against poultry, Lam Ching Ying, and then some. The martial arts choreography is good and the acrobatics are great, especially for Sammo. Overall, a movie that needs to be seen to be believed.
