Three short stories about the supernatural based on the work of writer Karel Capek.
First one is clearly fantasy as a man who works at a bank does a good deed and takes the blame for someone elses mistake and gets fired for it. When he gets home he decides the other man who’s wife just had twins needs the money more than him so decides not to set the record straight as planned. All of sudden a halo appears above his head and that’s when his troubles start.
The second story involves two men who think their wives may be cheating on them so they go to a psychic. The one who’s wife is cheating and the other’s who isn’t are told the wrong info to ironic results.
In the 3rd one, a man runs into a funeral persession knocking the coffin over and the dead man or a mistakely dead man emerges from the coffin alive…
