This is a futuristic poem about Belgrade in the year 2041st, on the fourth of July, the centenary of the Revolution which has to be celebrated. The town is deserted and dilapidated, since its population had in the meantime, for the reasons of strict economy and pollution, moved to the country, to lead a healthy life in the nature.
The aged journalist Matija, who had once upon a time, in the year 1986, taken part in the huge campaign of raising the moral of the working class people with the help of propaganda slogans, launches an action of the city revival, similarly to the once “times of Bogdan”. “Nice” girls from a boarding school and many “savages” from the suburbs assist him…
An armoured train comes to the town from the north, full of Trotsky and Dyerzinsky modelled defenders of the strict revolutionary measures. They try to keep the minds and bodies of the people in the old molds.
This is an assemblage of satirical sequences, visual games based upon cartoons and video spots, as well as of the documentary excerpts, such as the interview with Vladimir Dedijer.
