Joe Weber is an anthropologist who takes his son on a trip to the New England town of Salem’s Lot unaware that it is populated by vampires. When the inhabitants reveal their secret, they ask Joe to write a bible for them.
While many fans don’t like this sequel since it does not breathe the atmosphere of the original one (and of course has nothing to do with Stephen King’s story, he also did not wrote any sequel), it’s solid entertainment and a total recommendation. It’s fun entertainment, Cohen made a neat little Vampire movie that does many things right. It has some splatter, the story is intresting and the hero of the movie is indeed lovable.
